What we did instead was ETCH-A-SPHERO!!!! An app where you can use your Sphero as a controller for you phone to sketch something onto the screen. You hold the Sphero in your hand and you can move the imageg around by tilt the Sphero. Couldnt quite get it to draw but we have an image that moves around the screen and shows the Sphero rotating. I thought about this for awhile and because I am such a fan of their website and of music I wanted to do something with them. I created an app where you can type in an artists and it would display a listview with all of the similar artists. Also I got a listview of links from the twodee.org site and when you click on an item in the list view it will take you to a webpage associated with the item. Everything appears to be working correctly and all threads are being run in the background… I hope. The only thing that I found from testing my program was that when you click an artists name in the list it will crash. Other than that its awesome! Enjoy these screenshots :)

As you added them the list would update and show you your entire collection. You could choose a category, console and enter the name of the game and the name would appear in the list. Some of the widgets I used were; Spinners, ListView, Buttons, TextView, EditView and thats it. Here are some screenshots of my App.

http://www.twodee.org/blog/?p=5087 [...]]]> I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit lately and although its a little behind schedule I think I finally know what I would like to learn about in this class. The first thing that really got my attention was a mouse controller for windows with a tablet. Although i know there are some out there I would really like to make one that has similar function to the multi-touch Mac functions. Like if you slide three fingers up it will show you all running programs and from there you will be able to select one. Another app that i would like to create is a video game that was like the old windows 95 Skifree game; Just thinking about it brings back memories. Another app that would be enjoyable to make would be something that allowed you to use your phone as a voice masker. Hitting a button would allow you to record your voice and then change it to sound like something else. Maybe we could have it distort your voice while talking on the phone. An app that allows you to use someones phone to listen in on someones private conversation in real time would be pretty cool although maybe not ethical. It would allow you to access the persons mic and turn it on so that there conversation could be heard from your phone or computer without them knowing that your listening. And finally a simple camera app that lets you distort the image kind of like the photobooth program on a Mac.
