My son Lewis has long been fascinated by design. When we go to the mountains, he steals his mother's phone and replaces the lock screen background with some texture that he finds fascinating. When he was younger, he would sketch out the home screens of his versions of a tablet computer. On Father's Day in 2021, he gave me two wallpaper images for my phone. When we go about town, he talks about the kerning on the signs.
A few weeks ago, he showed me this screenshot of a desktop:
But it's not a screenshot. It's an SVG that he coded up in Twoville. Unfortunately, he lost the source code while reconfiguring his computer. There was even a battery level parameter. Ugh.
I hope he never stops making beautiful things.
