Anders Peterson – Nogramming

December 1, 2012 by . Filed under cs491 mobile, fall 2012, postmortems.

To better explain why I chose this idea for my Nogramming assignment I will have to go back to just before Thanksgiving when I was peeling potatoes with my dad.  We were sitting around the kitchen table and I was explaining to him that I needed to create something that involved android programming that wasn’t actually a program.  After brainstorming for a while the idea hit us, why not create the android logo out of potatoes?!

The idea seemed easy enough, potatoes are very easy to carve and after only a few short minutes we were able to create what you see in the images bellow.  Though he didn’t take long to make I think he is a pretty good look-alike.

The arms, feet, and head are attached to the main body with toothpicks and the antennae are toothpicks as well.

It stands about 5 inches tall.

So for all of those android programmers that are hungry and like potatoes, look no further than this tasty mobile snack.
