I actually have this app so I know how it works, but I remember being pretty overwhelmed by the interface at first. In no time i was able to figure it out and i use it all the time. There are 12 buttons on the main screen showing all the things you can do with this app. There is also a help button on the home screen. It goes through some of the buttons and the feature that follow. It acts as an FAQ for the app. The only way to really learn how to use it is to just dive in and see what everything does.
Basically this app is an extension of all the thing you can do in the game World of Warcraft. There are buttons to check your guild status, see who is online and you can even chat with them. There is an auction house button to let players search though in game items that other players are selling and buy them from those players. Then the item is sent to your in game mailbox which is also accessible from this button. You can then take that item or any item for that matter that is in one of your inventory slots and sell them back onto this auction house. There is a button to view your character in 3d and the gear it is wearing. Also, there is a talent point generator to see different builds of your character. The features seem endless and constantly growing.
Most people are saying that if you are a World of Warcraft player, that is app is great to have. There are a couple people who are a little dissatisfied that they cant log on or that is crashes on occasion and have given it 1 star. I have had this happen sometime and know that is it because the servers are down. There is a small bug in the auction house part which happens very rarely.
Like I said above there are a few bugs in the auction house part of the app that are being addressed through patches and updates. I have yet to have this happen in quite a while. Other than that I don’t think there is a way to break it.
Oh my god let me count the ways. This is a free app but there are part of the app that are locked to people who do not pay $3 a month but those features are only there for the hardcore WoW players to use. Another way is just plain old advertising. With a wide base of players they make a ton of money on this app.
