FL Studio Mobile | Getting Started
http://www.image-line.com/documents/flstudiomobile.html

One thing that I’ve really into is making and composing music. Since i was 5 or so, I took piano lessons and then in 5th grade, I started playing trumpet for the school band up until my sophomore year of high school. So since 8th grade, I’ve been using my music knowledge to get into music making. As of right now, I have FL Studio 9 and FL Studio 10 on my laptop. When Image Line (the makers of FL Studio) announced they were making a portable version, I was excited. If you’re familiar with FL Studio, then this app will look very familiar as well.

One very easy way to learn how to use this app is by going onto Youtube and watching the various tutorials on FL Studio Mobile. They’re very visual and easy to follow. Also, like I mentioned earlier, if you know how to use FL Studio, using FL Studio Mobile should be a cinch. In fact, it’s even easier to use than the PC version.

This app uses the mobile functionality by using the touch screen and having very intuitive touch controls and an easy to use interface. The controls and widgets are very similar to FL Studio, but more accessible for mobile platforms.  Each aspect of the app has different full-sized screens.  So like, the piano roll has a separate interface, the mixer has a separate interface, the playlist has a separate interface, and so does everything else.

As for the feedback for the app, the majority of people love this app.  Many people have been asking for this app for a long time now, therefore it’s been in high demand.  The comments on Youtube and the Apple App Store show that people really enjoy FL Studio Mobile.  Compared to other music making apps that I’ve seen, this one is by far the best.  The app is really hard to break since it was developed by professionals who’ve been in the business for many years now.  FL Studio Mobile only cost $15 which is a really great deal.  The actual PC version costs $199 and sometimes on sale for $99.  It’s totally worth the buy.  Once I get an iPhone, I’m definitely buying it for sure.
