There really is no ‘tutorial” section… the user just dives right in and starts shooting. The gun is auto-fire, and movement is via relative touch with the ability to change from two weapon types with a tap from the finger.

The enemies are rather dumb, but effective, and the boss just moves in patterns, so once you understand what he does, the game becomes relatively easy.

The “DataFlux” is a nice concept in the game, which enriches the experience by allowing you to examine each independent enemy and boss in a special “info” list, which gives background and what weapons are useful against what enemies.

Each level is sold in the app as an in app purchase for 0.99 each. With 2 free levels and 3 paid levels, this seems somewhat excessive, especially since each level takes approximately 2-3 minutes each.

Another way the app makes money is attempting to sell the sound track, which was done very well. At a buck, you can get it at http://retroflux.bandcamp.com/

The game is balanced rather nicely for a more “casual” shmup genre game. Rated 4.5/5.0 stars by users, which indicate good story line, graphics, and sound.
